Attraction Components… yeah!!!

Oh well, since I’m currently experiencing such perplexities in this field, I’ve browsed my super obliging SocSci 3 notes, and I’ve dig this topic:

“ Sex as Desire”

- yeah!

So let us first define what is passion…

Passion is a state of intense longing for union with another person….

If you are asking you’re self the signs of being in-love, oh well, I have a very reliable list! Haha, o well, I’ll replace it… Signs of being attractes to someone… haha! Sorry! It actually has three components: Physiological component, Cognitive Component and Behavioral Component… Here:

1) Physiological Component – related sa body!

*autonomic arousal… the body becomes intense… inshort… “kilig!” hehe

*increase of heart rate… kakabog-kabog!

*increase of blood sugar…

*increase of sweat gland activities… kaya sobra ka kung pawisan… hehe

*pupilary dilation *increase of body temperature… nag-iinit ka! haha

*higher and more shallow rates of breathing… kaya di ka masyadong makapagsalita ng maayos

*blood fills in various parts of the body… kaya namumula ka! [ erection for the guys and lubrication for the girls )

*increase in skin conductivity or the “ galvanic skin response” … kaya parang magugulatin ka sa mga simple touches… yiheee…

2). Cognitive Components – Ikaw lang ang nakaka-alam! Others can’t observe!

* intrusive thoughts… hay… it is when you’re doing a certain task or but you are thinking of that significant one or just by thinking about him or her… kaya kapag may nakikita kayong tao na biglang napapangiti sa jeepney, bus or lrt ng walang dahilan, may dahilan iyon! He/ she might be recalling some worthy and precious moments w/ him/her.

* idealization of the other person… you seem to think that he/ she is perfect . you still find him/her cute even if she flunked his/her exams, natalisod, jologs, may dumi sa mukha, binara ng prof, tumawa ng nakaka-turn-off na tawa and all that!

*desire to know him/her… you might call your self a stalker… you’ll stalk hi/her friendster account or blog, to gather some info about him/her, kung anong age niya, course niya, saan siya nakatira, movie and sound trips and anything and most importantly, kung single ba or tken na siya or it’s complicated.

*desire to be known… you’ll do almost anything just to be noticed…often times, magpapa-impress ka or simply, magpapansin lang!

*positive feeling when things go well… you know the feeling when he/she won a certain competition? Yung parang ikaw pa ang mas nanalo kung makaasta ka? Hehe… basta you’re happy when he/she feels happy…

*negative feeling when things go awry… like mas nagmumukmok ka pa kapag natalo siya sa competition or napahiya siya…

*longing for reciprocity… aw! Siyempre, you want him to feel the same way… sino bang ayaw?

3). Behavioral Components – how you act

*studying the other person… you want to know him/her, you’re studying his likes and dislikes…

*maintaining physical closeness… you want to be near him/her always

*service to other person… you’re willing to do anything for that person

*actions toward determining the other persons feelings ( direct and indirect )… oh well, no explanations needed…

So there… Now, thru that lists, can you now say that you really like him/her?

Hindi pa rin diba!!!!!!

Ang hirap naman! Hahaha…
